This enchanted little area can be found north of the central castle. From the login point at the great castle yard, you go 5 times north until you see a sign pointing east which says: 'Welcome to the Newbie Play Forest'. Heading east at this sign will take you into the enchanted newbie forest. As you pass the guard to the forest, you may be supplied with some provisional equipment. Wear and wield this equipment to make yourself ready for some killing. You should be able to kill many of the creatures you encounter - but not all. To get back to central castle (the castleyard) from the guard, you should go 5 times south.
