Spells and game items
- Spells that heal
mental
Suggestion:
In various forms (either by asking for items or by asking
for spells) it has been requested if there could be a way
for a player to raise his/her mental points, perhaps at
a cost of
losing some health points.
Denied because:
This does not fit within the logic of mental vs. health.
Mental within MS is used to cast spells - one of these spells
could be a healing spell, but that allows just health to
be healed. As far as we are concerned, there is no logic
in using health points to heal mental.
- Wimpying in non-exit
directions (planeshift, into a sorc chest)
Suggestion:
This request comes mostly from certain guilds who have an
ability to move away from their current room in a special
(safe) way. Druids, for instance, have a spell that will
move their spirit to the druid circle. Suggestions have
come over the years to allow the standard wimpy to allow
this spell to be set as the default wimpy direction.
Denied because:
This has always been denied because we try to keep the core
of the game unrelated to specific code in either areas or
guilds. By keeping this separate, we are capable to better
trace any erroneous situations and we can guarantee that
commands will be working in the way in which they were implemented.
