Stats, raising, wizzing, dying and suicide

  • Unfocus or losing a particular stat

    Suggestion:
    I want to get rid of a raise (multiple raises) in a certain stat, why not allow us to lose a stat of our choice, perhaps even for a price?

    Denied because:
    Which stat(s) you lose by focusing or dying is determined randomly. It's one of the things players have no control over. That one raise you made and don't like is something that is part of you. You may lose it at some point, or you may not. We don't like the idea that a player can almost mathematically deal with his abilities and stats.

  • Death insurance

    Suggestion:
    Dying is expensive, could we perhaps get some sort of insurance that we pay, so that if we die we don't lose so much experience?

    Denied because:
    This concept has been shot down by both immortals and players. Dying is an important part of the game. Dying is expensive and not something most will enjoy, but it is also one of the things that keep players on their toes when being in combat and when deciding whether or not to attack a certain monster. As it is now, the game already is nicer to those who die to tougher opponents than those who die to weaker ones. We will keep it at that.


  • Real PK

    Suggestion:
    Playerkilling is not really supported in MS except for some rooms (where you won't lose any experience). I would like to see some sort of real playerkilling in the game.

    Denied because:
    This is most positively never going to happen. We are not a player killing mud and we do not want to be one either. It goes completely against what we want in the game.
