Adventures and mercenaries, looking for a scrap or a fortune, who have sold their soul and their sword to Vlaurkir.
These men value whatever pervert lust they satisfy higher than the lives of innocent people that are lost in the process,
so no waves of guilt is justified when decapitating these sorry excuses for human beings. They are divided according to ability in four ranks;
- Private
These are to the Vlaurkans what the legionnaires are to the Minbarians, namely expendable cannon fodder. Still, most of
them has seen quite a lot of fighting, so they should not be underestimated.
- Sergeant
Men promoted to the rank of sergeant have shown some ability to lead, as well as skill with sword and axe.
- Captain
This is the highest rank of the main fighting force. Not many captains have been sighted, but the damage those few have
caused more than makes up for their small numbers.
The captains have all had high positions in many armies in many wars, and are men who live solely for the joys
of war. They have considerable tactical responibilities, as well as being formidable foes in combat.
These, the backbone of Vlaurkir's fighting force, answers to general Taal'aar (or
Sly to his family, should he have one), Vlaurkir's
right-hand man. This warrior, rumoured to be immortal, resides in the Vlaurkan tentcamp in the field, from where he
controls his forces. Apart from the mainstay force, he utilises some supporting units:
- Engineers
The engineers are all great minds, responsible for Vlaurkir's war machines. Most noteably, of course, the tall
siegetower dominating the field, with which the vlaurkans can overrun the Minbarian city wall after their army has been
softened up enough. Rumours have it that the engineers have other projects in the makings as well.
- Beasts and Handers
Not that it is needed, but the beasts are the ultimate proof of Vlaurkir's utter wickedness. Here he has interfered
with the way of life itself, and brought forth the most despicable mutants. These creatures, under the lead of their
handlers, are wreaking havoc in the Minbarian lines, and if this threat is not contained soon, Minbara will be doomed.
- Infiltrators
Taal'aar has made many attempts to upset the Minbarian defences through infiltrators, aiming to sabotage, undermine morale
and assassinate. The one who came closest to success was a strange woman, who was apprehended on the top floor of Imrahil's
tower, just a few doors away from success. She now starves on the bottom floor instead. It is also known that Taal'aar
has contact with Manatassi, who in turn is believed to walk in Basti's leach.
