               M I D N I G H T   S U N   H U N T S

The hunts are coming back soon.  For the benefit of those who do
not know, hunts are an opportunity for extra cash rewards and fame
for your guild.  Hunts are a type of treasure hunt where special
items or special monsters will be scattered across the entire mud

for the duration of one entire boot.  You will need to find the
special item or defeat the special monster to earn points for your
yourself or for your guild.  The planned time for the next hunt
is sometime mid-July.  I will make more info available as we draw

- It is with great sadness that we report the unexpected death of
Funkey at the hands of Grey Plume guard on May 19 21:00:56. It
appears to be a case of self defense.

- MS suffered a tragic loss May 20 21:41:37 when Silkworm was
brutally slain by a farmyard goose. MS will be pursuing the details
of this death to see if criminal charges should be filed.

- MS suffered a tragic loss May 20 23:39:10 when Haplo was brutally
slain by Xavier the knight champion of the castle. MS will be
pursuing the details of this death to see if criminal charges should
be filed.

- Midnight Sun Mourns the passing of Iosin, who was taken from the
realms of the living on May 20 13:00:51 by a farmyard goose.

- A rescue party was sent to the lair of A banana eating gorilla to
recover the body of Orinks. The autopsy shows that the estimated
time of death was May 19 23:52:06.

Zot at the hands of Shang Tzung, the Master of the Tournament on May
20 23:59:37. It appears to be a case of self defense.

On Thu May 20 18:04:39 2004 and after lengthy consideration Gandolf
was found guilty and sentenced to 5 days in the MS prison. The reason
was: Cheating on quests.
