On Mon Sep  7 17:30:10 1998 I had an interview with the famous
Tad Will-strong Druid of the Seven Circles
Below is a literal representation of that conversation.

Shorleck: Tell something about yourself outside MS, what nationality
are
you, what do you do in your spare time from ms anything you want to
share
with us ?
Tad: Well, I'm from Dubuque, Iowa in the United States.  Go USA!!! 
I'm a  senior in computer engineering at Iowa State University, and I
will  graduate in December of this year.  In my free time I like to
play  frisbee and fly stunt kites.  My favorite drink is Gin and
Tonic,  preferably with either Bombay Sapphire Gin or Beefeater Gin. 
Oh,  and I like frogs.  But not in THAT way, you sicko.  :P *Tad
smacks Shorleck for thinking dirty thoughts*

Shorleck: What is your favorite place within the realms of MS ?
Tad: Well, Everlund is nice because I like to go and kill the priests.
:)  It is common knowledge that all priests deserve to die a horrible 
screaming bloody death at the hand of a druid.  Especially Chansobal, 
since he thinks he is such hot stuff, right up until I lop his
pathetic  and wrinkled head off.  I hate that guy. But my favorite
place has to be the druid circle.  It is fun to sit  in there and chat
with the other druids, knowing that none of the  people from other,
inferior guilds will come in and interrupt you. It is great to have a
place where those silly gangly monks, stinky  hairy lycs, pale sweaty
sorcs and ooh-I'm-so-very-very-holy-but- I-wish-I-was-a-druid priests
won't show up and ruin the atmosphere. *Tad hugs the druids and sticks
his tongue out at the rest of you*

Shorleck: What place do you hardly ever go to and why not ?

Tad: I hardly ever go to Texas, because it is way too hot there.  Oh,
you  mean in Midnight Sun?  Why didn't you say so?  *smacks Shorleck
in the  head*  Well, I don't go to the caverns under the mountains
very much  anymore since it seems like there are so many things
unfinished down  there.  It is nice to go down there and get a massage
every so often,  though.  Nobody can rub you like a drow girl can.  :)

Shorleck: From all the quests you did, which one did you enjoy the
most,
what made it special ?
Tad: I enjoyed Legend because it was worth so much and it was SOOOOO
easy! Oh wait, I haven't solved that one yet.  :(  Actually I think my
favorite so far was the Invisible Sword quest.  There were lots of 
really cool aspects of that quest, and it was suited especially well 
to druids.  And the concept was nice, too... I mean, how do you find 
an invisible sword?!  :)

Shorleck: What is your favourite weapon and why ?
Tad: I have always been fond of the Guild Sword and Norn Amulet combo,
especially if you just happen to have a Black Robe to lend a hand. 
But I haven't been able to use that combo since I reset my character 
so many months ago, so it might not work nearly as well nowadays.
Also, I like to use Chansobal's femur to bash in the heads of other 
priests...it makes me laugh for some reason.

Shorleck: Which monster is your biggest enemy ?
Tad: There was this really freakin' huge pink butterfly in Galadriel's
forest once.  I'm talking BIG!  Like a 20 foot (6.1 meter for you non-
USA peoples) wingspan, with enormous fangs, razor-sharp claws, a 
poisonous tail, and a really bad temper.  And it had a laser-beam 
attached to it's head!  Yeah, a laser!  And it was holding a magical 
device, the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, and aimed it at me!  Ack!

The nightmares are coming back!  Snakes!  Snakes!  *shudder*  *shake*
*burp*  *twitch*  AAARGH!!!

Shorleck: What goals have you set for yourself here in MS, are you
here for
chatting or you want to play or striving for wizhood ?
Tad: Well, I mostly chat nowadays.  My main goal for the near future
is  to hit level 14 so I can make my triumphant return to Shadowland. 
It  has been way too long since I killed a pirate.  Poor Tubbo
probably  doesn't even remember me.  He will though...  *evil
laughter*

Shorleck: Is there anything else you would like to add ?
Tad: I should also say hello to my wonderful wife Tae, who is the
bestest  girl to ever hit Midnight Sun.  Also, greetings to my
tremendously  powerful son Umuni... he's grown up to be such a strong

young man!  And I can't forget my grandson Bluestat.  We all had such
high hopes  for him, and he fulfilled them all by becoming an admin. 
I have such  a great family! Oh, and thanks to all the wizzes, admins,
seniors, and most of all the  druids who make this game worth playing.
As for the rest of you  clowns, you should just give up and join the
druids.  We're the best  guild and you know it.  :) And in case I
haven't mentioned it lately, you are all freaks.  :) And I love you
all for it.

resulted in Gohan's death at Sep  8 00:43:26.

- Midnight Sun Mourns the passing of Celestial, who was taken from
the realms of the living on Sep  8 05:43:16 by Treythers, the
stealer of dreams and hopes.

- It has been discovered that a nasty altercation with A nasty orc
has resulted in the untimely death of Jinx on Sep  8 12:48:16.

- It is with great sadness that we report the unexpected death of
Xanaeven at the hands of guard on Sep  8 08:09:09. It appears to be
a case of self defense.
