On Sat Sep 18 00:39:55 1999 I had an interview with the famous
Pontif Sturdy Preceptor Paladin of Lathander
Below is a literal representation of that conversation.

Shorleck: Tell something about yourself outside MS, what nationality
are
you, what do you do in your spare time from ms anything you want to
share
with us ?
Pontif: I'm from the US.  I am a recent college graduate, trying to
deal with actually working.  I enjoy playing French horn, singing, and
playing Axis and Allies, besides mudding. I also enjoy reading
greatly.  I am mostly a sci-fi/fantasy fan, but also enjoy reading
non-fiction about philosophy or environmental issues.  Have any good
suggestions for environmental books to read?

Shorleck: What is your favorite place within the realms of MS ?
Pontif: I like hell.**

Shorleck: What place do you hardly ever go to and why not ?
Pontif: I hardly ever go to Manetheron, because it sounds like it
always has bugs and kills people.

Shorleck: From all the quests you did, which one did you enjoy the
most,
what made it special ?
Pontif: I thought that the Black Cathedralquest was my favorite.  It
was not easy, but at the same time I usually had some sense of where I
needed to go and what to do.  I don't like ones which I have no idea
where to start.

Shorleck: What is your favourite weapon and why ?

Pontif: I like the Dragon Sabre.  Sure, it's weaker than others, but
it's just cool that it learns.

Shorleck: Which monster is your biggest enemy ?
Pontif: Zeddog.  So far I've killed her about 20 times, but I hope to
soon make that a more frequent occurance.  Filthy Blood Temple..grr.

Shorleck: What goals have you set for yourself here in MS, are you
here for
chatting or you want to play or striving for wizhood ?
Pontif: I like the mix of chat and playing, although I'm mostly here
for playing.  Someday I may try to become a wizard, but not for a long
time. 

Shorleck: Is there anything else you would like to add ?
Pontif: Why don't moths try to fly to the moon?

Sabu at the hands of Count Body on Sep 18 15:09:09. It appears to be
a case of self defense.

- A rescue party was sent to the lair of An elven entrance guard,
bored of his dull job to recover the body of Edge. The autopsy shows
that the estimated time of death was Sep 18 04:15:14.

- It is with great sadness that we report the unexpected death of
Starum at the hands of Isthan the lost knight on Sep 18 08:10:33. It
appears to be a case of self defense.

- MS suffered a tragic loss Sep 18 02:52:58 when Hellspawn was
brutally slain by The Hawzo mansion butler. MS will be pursuing the
details of this death to see if criminal charges should be filed.

- It is with great sadness that we report the unexpected death of
Thom at the hands of Kobold guard on Sep 19 02:35:16. It appears to
be a case of self defense.

- Midnight Sun Mourns the passing of Zlam, who was taken from the
realms of the living on Sep 18 01:23:43 by Rex Crimson the dragon of
despair.

- Grey Plume guard and Tomwik got involved  in a heated argument,
which resulted in Tomwik's death at Sep 19 00:56:40.

- It has been discovered that a nasty altercation with Conan the
Protector of the War Monk Monastery has resulted in the untimely
death of Boeowulf on Sep 19 08:45:56.

- Midnight Sun Mourns the passing of Kannakin, who was taken from

the realms of the living on Sep 19 04:40:04 by an old man.

- It has been discovered that a nasty altercation with A lazy pirate
on guard has resulted in the untimely death of Darin on Sep 19
07:50:15.

- A big powerful demon and Tyrm got involved  in a heated argument,
which resulted in Tyrm's death at Sep 18 21:04:11.

- It is with great sadness that we report the unexpected death of
Dalamar at the hands of A Chromatic Dragon, with five heads on Sep
18 08:13:43. It appears to be a case of self defense.
