- Thank You - I am writing this as a special appreciation for the
old-timers of Midnight-Sun. We all know that we are greatful for the work
and effort that the wizard staff on up through admins do for the mud, but I
think a special group of players deserves some small thanks. I thank you
for being here, playing, sharing your time(we all know we have other things
we should be doing:) ) and your comeraderie with everybody. No small amount
of newbies has played and used your knowledge and experience to enhance
their gameplay.  You have lived through many changes, (some you thought
good, and some you thought bad.)You survived new areas, alterations to your
guilds, changes in the entire mud...and remained LOYAL. The fact that you
have stayed, has given wizards a certain group to code for, challenges to
be met...  There are many many muds to choose from, yet you stay here. I
consider myself an "old-timer", yet I have learned from many of you..I have
watched those that I used to play the game with, wiz and go on to other
things..once gone, they cannot return to that which they left..many is the
time I feel sad in their behalf.   As I look over the toplist of the oldest

in Midnight Sun, I note that only 21 out of 40 people on the list still
play...if the page were longer, many more of my friends would be there..so
to you..and them..I tip my circlet to you. Thank you for being the backbone
of midnight sun.

- MS suffered a tragic loss Oct 20 18:55:36 when Iizk was brutally
slain by A lizard man. MS will be pursuing the details of this death
to see if criminal charges should be filed.

- MS suffered a tragic loss Oct 21 00:29:12 when Freiza was brutally
slain by Rivlet the acquisition entrepreneur. MS will be pursuing
the details of this death to see if criminal charges should be
filed.

- A rescue party was sent to the lair of A Reaper Demon to recover
the body of Umuni. The autopsy shows that the estimated time of
death was Oct 20 11:32:49.

- A swamp elemental and Allein got involved in a heated argument,
which resulted in Allein's death at Oct 21 12:01:49.
