On Tue Mar 6 17:18:06 2001 I had an interview with the famous Cruncher Will-strong Arcane Hierophant Below is a literal representation of that conversation. Shorleck: Tell something about yourself outside MS, what nationality are you, what do you do in your spare time from ms anything you want to share with us ? Cruncher: I'm Slovak, 22, male, university student. Shorleck: What is your favorite place within the realms of MS ? Cruncher: I like Aldar pretty much, especially if I can harvest the guards, that's pretty good cash imho. And Everlund is nice, because there are monsters of various levels in there, lot of weenies to refuel plus Chansy and Leo. |

Shorleck: What place do you hardly ever go to and why not ? Cruncher: I really rarely visit Barovia, because it's infested by the infamous guild of shapeshifters... *eek* And yeah, I cannot claim to make regular trip into the land of shagulites... Shorleck: From all the quests you did, which one did you enjoy the most, what made it special ? Cruncher: Ahem, I'd say Sean's Last Wish, because afterwards I had a neat conversation with Eddy. But well, I'm still here. The Almoth quests were nice, Alchemist too, I'm looking forward to Callandor with expectations, too. Shorleck: What is your favourite weapon and why ? Cruncher: Obviously, demon blade is the best there is. Actually I'd |

prefer DB to any other set of uniques in MS. But then again, if I party with sorc / paladin (i.e. Eldrin / Lancelot) any hard hitting weapon is OK. Shorleck: Which monster is your biggest enemy ? Cruncher: I'd say, generally monsters that ignore my spells rather suck. This means either monsters with immunities that cause my distracts to graze, or guys that completely ignore entangle / mindmeld. The second option includes half of the mud, so I have a lot of enemies as it seems. Shorleck: What goals have you set for yourself here in MS, are you here for chatting or you want to play or striving for wizhood ? Cruncher: Hmm, I guess I'll play some more, at least until I finish uni, very probably even after that *grin*. Chatting is OK as long as I |

don't have DB; in this case I tend to be rather ignorant to mindless chatter. Shorleck: Is there anything else you would like to add ? Cruncher: I hope the printing press is going to crash on this :p Here ended our conversation. I wish to thank Cruncher for him cooperation and wish him a lot of happy hunting. -- Shorleck -- |

On Wed Mar 7 03:03:22 2001 I had an interview with the famous Twilight Will-strong Hierophant Initiate Below is a literal representation of that conversation. Shorleck: Tell something about yourself outside MS, what nationality are you, what do you do in your spare time from ms anything you want to share with us ? Twilight: I'm a dutchie and proud of it. Besides trying to kill every monster still worthy of my attention in MS without getting killed, i spend a lot of time playing D&D, trying to kill my players as a DM and trying to stay alive as a player. Aside from that, i do a bit of drawing (some of my drawings have been posted on my homepage), and sometimes i even do something useful like studying. |

Shorleck: What is your favorite place within the realms of MS ? Twilight: Well, altough i have outgrown it, the Grey Forest east of Everlund is still one of my favorite places, because it is diverse and has a true sense of history besides nice things to kill. Another place i really like in MS is my very own lordroom, of course. I've recently gained the status where i could claim one for my own, and have made the most of the little hole in the ground i could afford just then. Shorleck: What place do you hardly ever go to and why not ? Twilight: Hmm... I rarely go to Manetheren. The sheer size of the place tends to intimidate me. Altough i keep maps of most of the places i roam on my travels in this realm, Manetheren has several places i would rather not venture into, even when equipped well. Somehow, the presence of nature is twisted in those places, so i cannot send my spirit to the safety of the Druidic circle. |

Shorleck: From all the quests you did, which one did you enjoy the most, what made it special ? Twilight: I really loved the 'missing pages' quest. I can't help it. Riddles enthrall me, and i couldn't leave the quest alone until i had solved all it's riddles, even until long after i had solved the quest itself. Shorleck: What is your favourite weapon and why ? Twilight: Well, my opinion is divided there. I love the sword of the Phantom, but only while i can use it on a creature which does not need to be entangled. For those creatures of whom i would rather have that they not hit me at all, i prefer the Ninja Axe. But then, i have much to learn about unique weapons still. Weapons which pose restrictions to alignment, rate of killing, or other things however would never reach my 'favourites list'. |

Shorleck: Which monster is your biggest enemy ? Twilight: Until i realised that they were beneath my contempt, i had a deep hatred for Grey plumes. I even made a song about it. But now, i suppose, my biggest enemy would be the Wyrm in Arcanarton. It is the only creature who ever killed me on who i haven't yet avenged my death. Some day, it too will fall unto the ground before me, bleeding its life's fluids into the welcoming earth. Shorleck: What goals have you set for yourself here in MS, are you here for chatting or you want to play or striving for wizhood ? Twilight: Well, I visit the realms under the never setting sun for two reasons: To chat, and to kill. Wizardhood has so far never entered into my ambitons. Questing is a rare pleasure I allow myself when the time for it has come. |

Shorleck: Is there anything else you would like to add ? Twilight: Well, i would urge everyone to explore the deepest parts of Midnight Sun. New challenges await...isn't that what we all seek here? We all have to die sometime. Do you want to live forever? Here ended our conversation. I wish to thank Twilight for him cooperation and wish him a lot of happy hunting. -- Shorleck -- |
